Dear Parents, There are two (2) forms of the H1N1 flu vaccine, the injectable and nasal spray. The most recent information from the county health department states that they have a lot of nasal spray, but very little injectable. They are saving the injectable for high risk persons. Therefore, if you have checked that you want your child to receive the injectable only, they will probably receive nothing. You can let your campus school nurse know you are okay with the nasal spray or come in and change the vaccine consent form allowing your child to receive the nasal spray. Deborah Randall R.N.
